Long story, but I find myself in possession of more matcha than I can drink. I have my Ippodo supply which I like a little bit better.
The matcha is from koyumatcha dot com, for whom I have been attempting to do some photo work - that is the long story, and the work is FINISHED, which is why it is here in the private section, I'm not going to be a product placement shill, which is what I feel it is devolving into.

/whine.
Anyways, all that aside, as part of the deal, I ended up with a buttload of matcha, and have a full extra tin of the red label, and a nearly full green label.
Here's the down and dirty:
They are all organic. None, IMO are quite to the level of O'cha's organic, or as flavorful as the yame from Yuuki-cha. The Yellow label is quite decent though, and if it were not way overpriced, I would probably buy it. The red label is fine and drinkable, again overpriced, but there are better selections out there for less $$. The green label... well, if you are a heavy matcha user and a budget drinker, you'd probably go through it just fine. It's not bad, just not up to par with what I'm drinking on a daily basis. TBH, after the first try, I just used it for a couple of photos then poured it down the sink.

Anyways, if someone wants the green - for cooking, curiosity, or just because you're a booze- er- I mean matcha-hound, just looking for some cheap swill, I'd probably just send the rest of the tin I have left.
The red label, if several people want to try it I'll divvy it up, otherwise, you want it, I'll send it. (Wouldn't mind a teeny tiny trade for that one if you want it whole and unopened.

I think I have 1/2 tin of the Yellow label that I could sample out.
I also have a full pouch of the "ingredient grade" that I am curious to try, but then again, I'm not sure I want to waste the cooking ingredients on the matcha. If anyone here is a matcha cooking fiend, let me know, I might want to just throw in the towel and send it out. Heh.
Any takers?
