I was out of rootbeer (sassafras root tea?) and had an itching for a float. So, I steeped two bags of chai and let it chill to 'slightly warm' (I think that's an imperial measurement). As it melted the vanilla icecream slightly It cooled to 'perfect for drinking' cold and the milky output of the icecream sweetened the tea to perfection.
