Yesterday I received word that my father has passed away. He was elderly, so in a way it shouldn't have been a surprise, but it was sudden and therefore a tremendous shock - and, of course, I loved him. Dad's home is three time zones away from me, so I am hastily making preparations to fly out within the next day or two. I'm an only child and the executor of his estate, so I have a big job in front of me now.
So my participation here will be pretty limited for the next couple of weeks, although I do hope to pop in on occasion for the sheer relief of it. TeaChat is really a wonderful haven of peace, enthusiasm, and unabashed tea-geekery. Times like this make me appreciate this place all the more.
Anyway, I just wanted to let all my ITD TeaBuddies know.
Cheers,
Julia

I'm so sorry for your loss Julia. I am an only child too and also had to deal with all you are about to face. You have a tough road ahead, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,
