I've enjoyed tea for many years, having decided partway through high school that I was never going to be a coffee drinker. I enjoyed tea bags for a while, before dabbling into loose herbals and finally discovering loose leaf tea. It took a bit for me to dive into loose leaf tea, but after I took the plunge it has been a steady journey that is not too fast and not too slow.
Currently my cup is empty, but I had some sencha with matcha in a travel mug during the day and the last bits of the Fuka-midori from Den's as a cold brewed iced tea this afternoon.

I've been drinking tea for most of my life, go UK!
The quality of the tea increased over the years until one day I realised just how eye wateringly expensive and good tea can get - gong fu and whatnot. That marked an increase in speed for a few years but I think things have settled down to a more leisurely pace these days.
Song Zhong Dan Cong on the go just now.

My tea journey has gone in fits and starts. I started drinking tea as a teenager, when the only tea available was either Lipton's bags or the 20-year-old oolong my parents had bought in Japan when they were in the military.
In college I drank mainly soda to stay awake, and had only the occasional cup of Lipton's.
Somewhere in grad school I discovered Twinning's, and became a fan of Irish Breakfast tea, Prince of Wales, English Breakfast, and Lady Grey.
Post marriage, we travelled to the UK and I had fun choosing LOTS of boxes of tea to bring home and sample. With travel across the US, I got to sample teas from tea shops.
With the advent of Amazon and other online shopping, I got to order in tea.
Then I wandered into Adagio, and now I mainly get my tea from here.
