Thank you. :D

It is a small 1 person serving teapot for when I am drinking tea alone.

Glad you like it.

Pretty cool. Is the blue glaze at the bottom smooth or does it feel crackly? I have some new teapots on the way from a few different places....uhh...maybe I got carried away...

is the blue on the bottom glass or a glaze. it looks like glass melted in the bottom.

looks cool though.

It is smooth and glassy. But you can see the crystals under the surface. It really sparkles too. Also the glaze is really pretty with copper and silver speckles.

It is melted glass.

The balance is fine. Yeah it could be more stable, but it's like a Weeble. LOL It wobbles if knocked off base but just re-centers itself. So it won't spill. As for matcha use, it's a little too small for proper whisking, unless you transfer. It has a nice sound to it, and feels nice. It is definitely striking to look at. I'm quite taken with it.

Unbelievable... Victoria, I was looking at that work on Etsy just a couple of days ago... searching for something Strommen-like but more affordable. It's lovely!

Well I have invited her to come here and she did create an account, I know someone else asked her too. She knows how popular these bowls are, I'm sure there will be more appearing soon.

swozt, that's a lovely "girly" teapot!

Victoria, that bowl almost looks like it's made out of wood, with the glaze strokes, and that melted glass or whatever on the bottom is really cool!
