The style of brewing is almost the same as 'glass brewing'

Hmmm....I have a small one of these which I use as a teacup - will try it as a brewing vessel. I haven't seen this style of brewing before but it is like brewing in a glass or uncovered gaiwan. The only difference with a gaiwan is that since the tenmoku is thicker it will retain heat somewhat more although that is probably more than offset by the lack of a top.
