ding gu da fang and assam for breakfast and lunch and probably going to try some long jing or fo cha tonight even though its past my teatime
I certainly crave the morning tea the most. The late night caffeine keeps me up so I try not to drink tea after 9:00pm and all the time before bed makes me anxious for the morning. Also If I need to get up ealy in the morning I get up extra early for tea so I guess that means I really need it.

Yeah, what he said! Afternoon, Japanese green!brlarson wrote:I voted `maybe not'. After I kicked the coffee habit I craved morning caffeine for a few months, but I'm beyond that now. If I crave tea at any time of the day it's afternoon tea. That's when I have Japanese greens, which, I believe, are the ``crack'' of the tea world.
Mmmmm, tea,

So what are we arguing about? I forget?spot52 wrote:Yeah, but the only real difference was the amount of money put into production and the emphasis on action. The rest of the movie was in line with the previous shows/movies and there was a standard sci-fi story line.Victoria wrote:But it was a prequel.

Tonight I am trying a new concept tea that I found while reading the Tea Expo post.
It is a tea concentrate called TeaZen. I'm kind of a sucker for stuff like this and their website is very cool.

I don't really crave anything in the morning beyond a hot shower. I always make tea to start my day with, but my morning teas and those that I bring to work are the easy to brew, not overly complex, and pleasant to drink types. The teas that I crave tend to be the ones that I have later in the day after sipping the mediocre teas, thinking about the better ones that I have at home.
Currently in my cup is Earl Grey Rooibos.

I'm usually cold when I wake up, so I crave the warmth that my morning tea provides. Usually I'm not fully awake yet, so the tea itself could be utter swill and I would still be happy. I definitely crave tea later in the day, though!
Today I drank a lot of Tencha-Kuki Houjicha, which reminds me of sunflower seeds. Oh, and I successfully baked soft pretzels (from scratch) for the first time. So good.

Still not the last! Glad to hear it was fab- its gotten good reviews but its always good to hear from a real person not just a reviewer. Might have to go this weekend!Victoria wrote:Just back from seeing Star Trek with DH, so am I the last person on the earth to see it?? It was fabulouis by the way. DH and I are big fans, but he hates crowds so
we waited till the rush of last weekend was over. If it was up to me I would have seen it opening night, standing in line and all! It was FABULOUS! I'm a big Heroes fan so of course I thought Spock was just excellent!!

No arguing, just discussing the difference in traditional treks and the new.Victoria wrote:So what are we arguing about? "You want the taste of dried leaves in boiled water?"
"Er, yes. With milk."
"Squirted out of a cow?"
"Well, in a manner of speaking I suppose ..."

Hopefully not too late...well, I am sure you did OK with it anyway.cherylopal wrote:Please share- I'm getting up early tomorrow to open my pkgChip wrote:And think I figured out Sae Midori from O-Cha.
I tried something I usually do not with sencha and it seems to work with this one. I felt up to now it was tooo soft. So, I did not preheat and gave it a jolt with hotter water instead. Low 170's. Brewed a minute. Leaf ratio was a little lower too ... not uncommon with shincha. 4.5 grams per 7 ounces water, 0.65 ratio. (although this is higher that the ratio on the bag)
