Hi everybody, I recently got into loose teas. I also like to buy things in bulk. I'm trying to find a place here in San Diego. Are there any Asian stores here that carry Oolongs in bulk?
Thanks In Advance.

I would suggest buying (and drinking) in smaller quantities, especially at first, and especially especially if you end up buying from somewhere that's not local. I would really suggest developing your palate and getting better ideas about what kind of flavors you like. Otherwise you may end up stuck with a lot of tea you don't really like. That said, most vendors will work out some sort of deal if you order a large quantity. But good tea is rarely cheap, especially in the US or Europe.
I don't know of too many places that are great in San Diego; my cousin likes a place called Infusions of Tea (
http://www.infusionsoftea.com/).
There's this place:
http://www.thewholeleaf.com
but I'm not sure if they have a retail presence anymore.
There's one other shop I've heard of that's outside the main city (maybe Fallbrook?) but I don't remember the name.
You'll find some better options in LA at various price levels (search this forum for some suggestions).
