I drink the same teas all the time. I do love some variety though. BUT, If I get hooked, I just can't stop.....I have already had one cup of ginger cardamom chai today, and just started on another!
I only have two tea buddies around here, so I have to drink most by myself (one them is now vegan, no more of my masala chai
, its almost impossible to get good soy or almond milk around here)
About to have some sencha overture once this AMAZING cup of chai is gone, maybe the best cup I have ever made. The cheap black assam's really work the best from my current experiences (red label!)

In my cup this afternoon, a current favorite:
Tea Masters '09 Baozhong
Busy day here at work today, big BBQ in progress.

Maybe, if I am really craving something or if it is so good that I just need more of it. I've done that mostly with Japanese greens that were awesome enough to leave me wanting more, even after my 5 or 6 steeps were done. Generally that can be remedied by having more than one Japanese open at once, but occasionally it still happens, especially with newer teas.
Currently in my cup is YM shincha. I think I finally got it this time. 165*F, preheated kyusu and cup, slightly heaping teaspoon of leaf to 5oz of water, 90 seconds plus pour steeping time. The first steep was incredible!

I bought it 18 Months ago, about 2' high - £22 It flourished last year so I repotted it into a larger pot this last Xmas. From March to Early May it was putting on a superb show of leaves and starting new growth!brad4419 wrote: Im sorry to hear about your katsura Herb Master Is it an older tree or did you just get it?
I may have forgotton to secure chards over the potholes - because when I stupidly forgot to water them for 8 days, one or 2 of my 10 potted maples showed slight signs of wilting.
I watered them all and the next day they were all flourishing, but 2 days later the Katsura which had not looked like it was wilting then, started to fade big time
I watered it again and noticed 30 minutes later that almost all the water had come out from underneath.
I have now had it in a short water bath for 3 days but I fear it is lost!
In my cup this night, Rich Barbarian Summer 2008 Supreme.
Sorry, Sal but the shape of the leaves reminded me of my Maple

Wow, I would have never thought so many responders would say yes to having the same tea twice on the same day. I may have 2 or 3 different sencha on the same day, but never the same exact one.
I should have clarified that I was NOT refering to multiple steeps.
Finished the TD out with a Goomtee Darjeeling FF compliments of the "A" team from 2009, my first FF black from Darjeeling from this harvest. Despite the hardships due to lack of rain, this was very good. I have over 30 more FF Darjeeling to sample. Work work work ...
