i notice most people here use old fashioned tea kettles.
i use the Zojirushi CD-LCC30 Micom 3.0-Liter Electric Dispensing Pot
and i LOVE it get water at preset 208 degrees, 195, 175 degrees, you can also do 212 and every five degrees between 205 and 140/
personally i like my blacks at 208 instead of 212. i do my greens and whites 180 or 185
I use the Zojirushi CD-LCC30 Micom 4.0 liter dispenser and really like it a lot. I don't think my model allows for selecting every five degrees between 205 and 140/ like yours but find the three temperature settings plus reboil to work well for me. I can see where the additional temps would be nice. I usually set morning temp for black tea and then move to 195 or 185 for green or white tea in the afternoon. Very convenient!
we almost have the same one, procarel wrote:I use the Zojirushi CD-LCC30 Micom 4.0 liter dispenser and really like it a lot. you cant manually select it, its a little "life hack" you just open it when its at 208 and add cold filtered water till you get to your temp it goes down by five degrees.
its an AMAZING hack because regardless of the tea you can always get the perfect temp (within 4-5 degrees).
