what was the oldest pu-erh you had?

One of the intentionally aged teas, Pu-Erh has a loyal following.

The oldest stuff I've had where I'm relatively confident that the date was (relatively) accurate would probably be the 50s hong yin served at the Pasadena tasting (I had a chance to take some of the spent leaves home, as well as a chance to try it again when a local tea aficionado bought one of the 10g samples). I wouldn't turn down the chance to drink it again, but the 60s (maybe actually from the early 70s?) ba-zhong huang yin (which confusingly has a green “茶” rather than a yellow one) impressed me more both times I tried it.

It's always an interesting experience, and the flavor tends to haunt you, even if it there aren't any fireworks when you're actually drinking it. Definitely makes it hard to go back to drinking younger teas, though.

I have also had some stuff alleged to be from the 20s / 30s. I can't speak to the veracity of those claims, nor do I know a lot about the tea.

The oldest that I have had in a very limited quantity is some 1960's Wang Zi Loose leaf sheng puerh from NadaCha. Needless to say, it was outstanding!
Good tea drinking,

The oldest one I had was from the previous universe, i.e. older than 15 bil. years. Surprisingly, it tasted exactly like black bagged Tetley tea. Come to think of it, it probably was black bagged Tetley tea, but it was ancient. I should clean out my cupboards more often.

The oldest I've had was a 1992, I actually forgot the name of it, but it was very enjoyable.

QFT. It didn't need to be perceived that way by anyone until you came along and made the comparison so beautifully.

I tried a small sample of Tea Spring's Gao Li Gong Shan 60's loose leaf pu. Salsero was kind enough to prepare it . To perfection, in my opinion  More than 10 infusions. I was intoxicated. Didn't know that was supposed to happen.
