Normally I wing it on the road, which often becomes a semi-vacation from tea, but for a recent out-of-state gathering of the clan we took along a stash of leaf and some basic teaware. Our tea-drinking daughters would have been scandalized had we arrived empty-handed; we raised them well.

I haven't gotten to vacation much lately, but when I do I generally don't bring my teawares with me. I'll order tea out when I can but of course it's never as good as my own tea at home. Just later this month I'm going to Puerto Vallarta and I don't think I'll be lugging any tea with me.

If I go anywhere on vacation, I bring tea with me even it is only an overnight. I always pack a small stash of sample sized tins, my scoop, and some paper filters. Depending on where I am going, I may also bring either a small teapot or an infuser basket. I also take my travel mug everywhere.

Today's teas were Earl Grey, Organic Monk's Blend, and many cups of iced teas.

Hahahaha oh yes, And seeing many of you with kiramaki....That bag haunts me in my sleep now. "drink me charliebear, drink meeee, oh I'm so lonely in this cold fridge, do you not love me?" But its okay my dreams are weeding out its moaning, I dreamed I was an electron the other night ahahahahaha awesome.

Ended the day with a great cup of masala chai from my buddy Madu, sneaked me some free deep fried subzis also, such a nice dude.
