I am a tourist, I believe in variety, the more the merrier. I think it's important to know what is out there, take adventures - and that's how you know what you like anyway.

That said, I will insist on trying everything. However, daily drinking I stick to my favorites (but then there's so much exploration within every category to be had as well). Life is a banquet.

Today my personal dish of tea is puerh! I am drinking Special Reserve Puerh from Imperial Tea Court. (A lot of traveling means my system needs some good puerh today.)

I've mostly arrived, but I have a taste for adventure.

Warming up with a cup of Wuyi Amber on this dreary July day.

So many choices, so little time!

Destination lies somewhere in the future. Waaay too much fun exploring new teas!

Farmers Choice BaoZhong in my cup. Fragrant, sweet, mellow.

Oriental Beauty later on, fittingly prepared and served in my dainty china, a pattern (Royal Doulton Glamis Thistle) dedicated to the beloved Queen who gave OB it's name.

Hey, me too! Yay!

I've mostly arrived with greens, more specifically Japanese greens. I definitely experiment with other types, but greens more than anything else. Speaking of greens, I got my Yuuki-cha order today! It came really fast for using the slowest shipping. I ordered last Wednesday and it showed up in the mail this morning. I got an awesome new teapot, which is just for Japanese greens, unlike my blue Den's pot that I brew everything in and four teas that are being stored in my really mini six pack of canned soda sized fridge until I finish off the YM. Woo-hoo!

Have mostly arrived, though I don't mind traveling farther afield now and then. Home turf is green (Chinese by preference, though some Japanese varieties are growing on me), with regular side excursions into oolong. There's TGY in my cup at the moment, as it happens.

I have arrived with my ThéType - Oolong.

But I like variety, so I have mostly oolong,
but add in others.

Started my day with a Japanese Black followed by
Baozhong, then LiShan. Kinda of a light tea day.
Pretty busy for multiple steepings.

I think I will always love black teas the best, though I enjoy trying various types of dark oolongs and greens. I've also tried pu ehr, and I really want to try some matcha (but have no way to do so at present).
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

Finishing my day with a cup of roasted kuki-cha.

Ye gods, this place is starting to rub off on me - I've started thinking about designing a rotating tea list to simplify my choices and keep my consumption even among my open packages.
