You can't hide the other vendors from us, iannon! haha
And I'm really excited to get that piece in the mail. I'll try to take some amateur photos once it's in.

Great aquisitions Luthier, Victoria, Olivier, and Sam. In the spirit of NOT fighting for Elm Studio pieces, I allowed Sam to complete his transaction before ... well ... before.
Shuweet Elm Studio ... more to come if they happen to arrive in the TeaCave.
Precocious and diminutive teabowl:

And just a tiny peek inside ...

haha Chip you bought the other cup I was contemplating!
The thing about a vendor like elmstudios that's so neat is that each of us will have completely unique and truly one-of-a-kind pieces. It makes me appreciate them so much more. I sound like I'm writing a love letter, and I haven't even received the piece yet.
Edit: It looks like you may not have bought the exact one I was looking at, but a very similar one!?

Oh yes please do sriracha!! Can't wait to see!
And I have a pot coming from England that I have been
wanting for over a year, thanks to Herb Master, it is winging
its way to me as we speak! I cannot believe this said pot is not
available on this continent by web or otherwise!! But as you
can see that did not stop me. If definitely slowed me down, but
did NOT stop me. Ha!

Arghh, there are two superb potters I've befriended whom I've been trying to entice onto the artisan forum, but to no avail. Both female, as it happens.Chip wrote:Maybe she is afraid that we would work her to death ...iannon wrote:i think both Victoria and I have tried to coax her over to the artisan forum but to no avail yet!
One of them has an aversion to selling based on photos alone - she believes that people should be able to personally see and touch the piece. I appreciate her point, it's certainly wonderful to choose in person; but those of us who live in smaller cities would have almost no opportunity to buy suitable tea wares if we lived by this code. In her case in particular I feel it's a pity, as she lives waay up north of me on Vancouver Island, so as a result I am lucky if I get to see her work more than once a year

the top part of the pot chipped off when something fell on it. the break was quite clean and the spout looked like a tea scoop. with the use of a sharpening stone grind manually to that angle. finish off with stone carving knife, file and grid 180 waterproof.chicagopotter wrote:Not to pour salt in the wound, but what happened and how did you fix it?Luthier wrote:my shipiao after surgery

What adhesive did you use, and does it come in contact with water?
