I like learning about the different types of tea ware and how they each brew tea differently, which in turn, results in different flavor nuances appearing in the teas. I quite enjoyed learning about different kyusu screens and which are better for the different steaming levels of sencha. I also am fascinated by the creations of the current day artisans and how those are made. The only thing that doesn't really interest me about the tea ware is the chawans and how the different clays and shapes of yixing pots effect the tea, but those will probably become an interest once I delve more deeply into matcha, oolongs, and pu.

Currently in my cup is steep #3 of Yuuki-Yutaka from Yuuki Cha. I am really liking this tea.

Today has been a grrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeaaaaaaaattttttt Tea Day. Was so sore from running around after a frisbee yesterday with some friends, and yelling at the top of my lungs "koo koo munga!". Felt sorry for the soccer team practicing beside us SO I got to catch up on some insane tea-age! EXTREME!

Had 4 infusions of YM, then 3 infusions of some yellowy tea from seven cups(great stuff), another infusion of FF darjeeling risheehat(now a fav!), and just had a large cup of homemade hot cocoa!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOO WIRED HEHEHEHEEHE. Probably going to end the day with some kind of rooibos or steal some of my roommates herbal teas
