I am very glad to share this tasting event with Victoria!
Due to my accident (and a surprising regain of interest for Chinese greens) I haven't tasted FFDJ from India yet. Moreover, my favorite from last year (Phuguri) hasn't appeared on the line up of my usual shop. So you will get tea from Nepal.
Au menu:
Himalaya gold 2009 from Mariage frères.

and maybe
Saphir Himalaya Spring flush 2009, from the same source (This would be a new tea for me as well)

For the time being 10 spots are offered (not counting Victoria and myself). I will order the tea by the end of the week.

3. Fencerdenoctum
4. Salsero
5. Wesli

Yeesh, been awhile, so I'd like to say yes, but I'd be somewhat ashamed to take it in. First, because my tea stash is in storage a few states away, and it would be awfully lonely sitting by itself next to well-meaning Celestial Seasonings gifts, and second, I haven't much of my tea gear to properly treat it with.
Buuuuuuut, if there's space, I'd love to raise my hand.

If there is still room (and inclination), I would love to try it too.

I have just sent 80g of each tea to Victoria. You will get about 10g of each, about 5 sessions for Himalaya Gold. For the other one which I haven't tasted yet, I guess you will have enough for 3 sessions.

I will be adding a surprise third selection to hopefully compliment Olivier's choices.
Please PM me your addresses!
Thx!

Ok, the TEA is on the way tomorrow for those who sent me their addresses anyway!
I have decided to include my favorite FF of 2009 from Camellia Sinensis:
Darjeeling Gopaldhara Wt-1 1st flush
http://camellia-sinensis.com/tea/fiche/ ... flush+2009
I had the Himalaya Gold 2009 from Mariage Frères this afternoon as I was packaging up all the boxes. Very mild and sweet. Slightly floral with sweet fruit notes. Little to no astringency.
I hope you all enjoy these lovely FF Darjeelings!
