Hehehehe... you mean I'm not one millimeter away from autism? A twirling toe is only a hop-skip-and-jump from head banging and rocking, I suppose. I was just on my way to ask my mother what sort of psychological trauma she encountered during my pregnancy which affected my big toe. I suppose we'll never know.

Hm. I've also got the sheet thing but, like Victoria, I can nap without something over me. Hunh.

I have a fair few idiosyncrasies. I have to rinse (clean) glasses out before I use them. When I eat something like cinnamon raisin granola, I usually pick out the raisins and eat them first. I can neither concentrate nor sleep if it's quiet.

I'm definitely in the mood for some Bai Hao right now. Must be the wind.

When I have multi-colored candies such as M&Ms or Skittles, I have to sort them by color and I eat one color at a time.

NAH! I don't think having to have the fan on at night counts.... I just like the cold. The only time I figet is when I have had too much caffeine, or if I am itching. Nothing really bothers me. I can be calm, well sorta! hahaha

Having my first infusion of YMMMM! cha! its good no? Might take a nappy poo, stayed up 24 hrs or so straight due to some crazy friends that wanted to go running and eat jalapeno bread at 3am, I'M IN! hehehe loved it.

Oh yeah, I used to put M&Ms into their own tins and eat them according to preference, saving the fave colors for last, even though I doubt they taste any differently. Browns first of course.

If I feel I have to crack my knuckles, I will go nutz til I do it, this includes big toes as well.

I find it hard to simply recreationally do anything, turning it competitive, even making up imaginary opponents. This is currently manifested in bicycling, faster is good, fastest is best. Climbing hills ... good, mountains ... best. Heh, sometimes playing classic stages of the Tour de France in my head in the process. And how old am I?

I am not a psychiatrist, but it seems that idiosycracies for me tend to lean towards obsessive leanings ...

Began the TD with a rushed session of Honyama from Rishi. Still excellent. SweeTea enjoyed it in haste. Pyrit, Wulong just enjoyed the company.

Then off to a birthday party, and a generic teabag ... not even a name on it. I think it had Ceylon black in it.

And now Yutaka Midori from O-Cha, superb.

And a duvet, and bedspread, for me. Which, especially during summer months, makes it a bit hard to sleep since the cats insist on sleeping on the bed with me. It gets very hot.

I absolutely cannot let the computer pointer/cursor hover above a browser window while it's loading i e changing, I have to move it to the side, to 'static' ground so to speak. I have no idea why but it just feels uncomfortable if I don't.

Plenty more where these came from but I'll spare you the novel. :)

Some Ceylon today at work-I had to fill in for a sick colleague-and at least five large glasses of pu erh. Right now-baozhong.

Beyond toe-twirling, here are a couple more...

I always eat the meringue first when eating pie with meringue topping. I pick it off and eat it first, and then eat the filling and crust together. Pretty sure I picked this up from my sister.

I take the sheets off the bed in a hotel room to check the mattress and mattress pad for cleanliness... my mother terrorized me about an epidemic of bed-bugs in nice hotels. Last Fall, I found hair, crumbs, and coins on top of a mattress pad, just below the bottom sheet.

Just had some konacha. Had a hard time not clogging my screen when pouring. The taste was not bad, much like what I get at my local sushi restaurant. I bought it while at Epcot in "Japan"... 4 bucks for 100 grams. It will make decent iced tea I think.

I have a few I suppose.
My main one is my book issue.
I can NEVER be without a book. If I'm getting near the end of one, I need to figure out what I'm reading next. If I'm near the end of my current book, and I have nothing to read lined up, I won't finish the book I'm currently reading until I do.

I don't know why.
It's probably some unhealthy OCD precursor lol

I can NEVER be without a book.
Since taking up reading again I've felt the same, but not as intensely though.

Me too! Makes me feel invincible to the of boredom of waiting in lines, for a bus, etc. Having a book came in very handy recently when I had to wait four hours for a visa to the US--for reasons that remain mysterious still! We might say that US immigration was being idiosyncratic.

I can remember being stuck places and thinking "Damn, why didn't I bring my book!?" Now that I have a baby that requires a diaper bag whenever we go anywhere, I always make sure to have a books shoved in there somewhere. The bag that is, not the baby :)
