Sunjara Tea--Buyer Beware!

by tea fish » Aug 14th, '09, 19:12

Hi all--

I just want to let you know about a less than thrilling experience I've had with Sunjara Tea. I don't know if anybody has bought or tried to buy tea or teaware from them. They have some nice modern teaware. So I bought a tea timer from them over four weeks ago and have yet to receive anything. I have emailed them four times and heard back only once, two weeks ago, when they told me that the timer was about to arrive to their warehouse and ship out to me. I still haven't received anything, and meanwhile they don't respond to my messages and their voicemail box is full!

And I haven't received a refund.

Anyway, it's been irking me and I thought to pass along my story to anybody who might be contemplating buying stuff from them.

Not good, and the full VM is a bad omen.

There are plenty of other vendors, am I right?

Yes, or sort of. They supposedly had a nice looking WMF thermometer and timer that I'm having difficulty finding anywhere else. (If you're interested it's this one: http://www.sunjaratea.com/product_p/ta1212.htm) Seems to be scarce in the US. And I'm being picky about teaware but I might just need to stop that and buy a plastic timer and separate thermometer. Oh well...there are more important things than whether my tea timer looks good.

Wow, you are right, that is a very nice looking set up.
I hope it works out or you find it eventually.
