Anyone coming into my kitchen would probably see some tea "in progress" or some tea pot waiting to be cleaned up...so, yeah I think most people would guess.

If they spoke to my family and said the word "tea", they would be informed immediately that I'm a tea nut.

This morning some no-name Ceylon mixed with Vithanakande...mmm, good. Tea buddy at work made Thai blend...added half-n-half and stevia...it was delish...not "tea", but delish. Right now I'm on the 3rd steep of YM sincha.

Happy TeaDay, Everybody,
Dreamer

"Need more cooler weather (to drink hot tea in Syracuse, NY)"

Coming at ya! By Wednesday you're vicinity is in the low 80s and in the comfortable 70s by the weekend. You're getting our last cool spell. We'll be sending our heatwave of this week to you next week.

Unfortunately, that cooler weather comes with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms through Sunday. *shrug*

I'm on the 3rd infusion of a decent no-name TKY. I've bitten the bullet and ordered in a whole leaf, SPFE-decaffeinated Ceylon for evening drinking. Fingers crossed its passable - I'm desperate for a decent evening cuppa, not a tissane. Stop gaps have been an Oorthu Estate Select White and kuki-cha.

Besides the Zoji on the counter, there's usually at least one teapot or cup sitting out in the kitchen at any given time, so I'd say yes.

Well Immediately they would see the Asian theme, by the time they got to the kitchen they would know absolutely, so I voted #2. The kitchen counter has a lot of tea that should be put away. The oven, which has been broken for some time, is a temporary tea storage, complete with pull out shelves!! hehehe.

Then ... ahem ... the dining room would resolve and doubts:

Started my TeaDay with the Pedro Garden Black, then CS AliShan at work,
needed more, but time ran out. Busy day.

Hm, I wouldn't think so. Virtually all of my tea and tea ware is in a cupboard with doors closed or the cats would wreak havoc. And a kettle and the odd cup in the sink doesn't amount to damning evidence, do they? :o

All I can remember of my tea from yesterday is the sheng sample I had late at night while watching Nishi no Yoki Majo.

Thanks woozl! I may have stumbled upon the solution today, totally by chance. I found a black cabinet on my lunch hour. I hope it will at least help get some of my treasures off the floor!

Thunderstorms offer the perfect opportunity to curl up inside with a cup of tea. Problem solved for a few days at least!

I don't think so, not by just walking in. However, were that person (and I had better know them) to start opening cabinets, and the pantry, there would be no hiding the fact.
