Both!
Must have breakfast and must have tea...both together...oh, yeah!
I usually start the kettle first.
My son is back to school so he's been having tea with me at breakfast this week...here's his order for every morning - strong black tea with half-n-half and very sweet. Gotta start somewhere!
We take my daughter back to college tomorrow (40 minutes away...not too far). She's got a job on campus at the new "cute little coffee shop"...we may lose her to "the dark side"
This morning we had Ceylon Lumbini. Later my tea buddy at work made something with black currant...it was pretty drinkable. Right now I'm having some YM sincha...I think I'm finally enjoying this one...my brain had to get past the fact that it is not the same tea as last year's.
Happy Day,
Dreamer

In my cup this afternoon: White Bud (bai ya) Qi Lan from a swap with Gingko. Very nice! Sweet and floral with a nice thick soupy feel, thanks Gingko for the opportunity to try this hard to find tea.
Long work day that doesn't seem to want to end. Meanwhile I ponder the delivery status of my latest acquisition from Japan. Will they leave it, or will I get the dreaded delivery slip?

Drax wrote:Hm, interesting...! Usually every morning I have a bowl of oatmeal with some raisins or other fresh fruit, along with a cup or two of tea. So as of this writing, I'm the only one who has voted both... I was not expecting that!
In any case, I've been lazy... I took the same single bush oolong for another spin. Perhaps the last? It was very good, and I think I got some great enjoyment from it, especially given it was a free sample!
Same here Drax, oatmeal and tea together in the morning. Usually some blueberrys and honey to top off the oatmean and whatever teas turn it is on the rotation.
Feels good to be back on the forums.
No tea today just not enough time before it was too late this evening

On the up side though I recieved my order from artisticnippon today, a wonderful hagi cup and porcelein teacup.

My weekday morning routines tend to be shower -> make tea (goes in travel mug) -> food -> drive to work -> drink tea. In actuality, I make the tea first, but it doesn't get consumed until some time after food unless I decide that I need a glass of iced tea with breakfast. Most of the time, breakfast just involves vanilla yogurt, fresh fruit, and sometimes granola. On weekends, tea always comes first. I have to force myself to actually eat something in the mornings during the week so I can focus enough to drive to work. If the commute was shorter, there would definitely be more tea in the morning.
I am finishing off some iced Darjeeling before I go to sleep.

First thing I do is get my son's breakfast squared away. I might be able to get a cup in then, while preparing his food, but more often than not I wait till he is fed. BUT THEN IT'S MY TURN TO MAKE SOME TEA!!!

I always eat something with my morning tea! I usually eat buttered toast, and any tea that can't be drunk with that is not a quality tea at all...
Had a pretty well brewed Bai Lin today for breakfast.
