IRC Channel

#teachat @ rizon is pretty dead.

There should be more geeks here that hangs out on IRC, no?
Maybe it should be moved to another server?

Would be nice to be able to chat on a better platform than the java applet.

What do you say?

I tried getting one started on IRCNet over at Teaviews, but nobody seemed to keen on the idea.

I didnt even know there was an IRC channel. In my opinion though its easier to just use the Instant Messenger on the right side of the page.

I found mention of the IRC channel a few weeks ago on someone's blog, but it just said: "Connect to the IRC server and go to #teachat." I wasn't about to try every IRC network out there to find it!

Now that I know the server, I'll have a look. :)
