Czech tearoom video

by Salsero » Jul 17th, '09, 02:37

Someone posted on Proinsias' blog a link to a nice video about a tearoom in Prague.

It sounds like tea is catching on in the Czech Republic.

Thanks for the link, Salsero. It's pretty amazing that there are over 300 tearooms in the Czech Republic--in a country of 10 million people, that's pretty impressive. Next time I'm in Prague, I'll have a new place to visit...

I really like how the documentary was made, calming, but there is a bit of tension though-out the whole thing, driving ones curiosity

Maybe we'll meet there then. :)

I've always had a weak spot for Dobra cajovna. It was their tearoom where I've drunk my first "uh, no teabag in my pot?" TEA for the first time some 15 years ago. Plus this particular one has a very nice garden which makes you forget about woes and worries for a while.

Sounds lovely. I have an aunt and uncle and sundry cousins in the Czech Republic (north of Prague), and they keep trying to lure me back for a visit. I am very lure-able when it comes to Prague, except that life in the US is rather busy. But...hopefully in the next couple of years I'll go back to the CR.
