No coffee for me...like others have said here, I love the smell of the bean and freshly ground beans, but the coffee smell itself...nope, not for me.

Today, enjoyed Ceylon Vithanakande with DH on the deck early and then iced on the deck just a bit ago with friends and DH. No tea in between as we were at an all day swim meet watching my son swim (15 schools, 230 swimmers).

Needing some green...must have sencha...must wait till tomorrow...

Interesting posts on various topics on teachat today...thanks for the info everybody...keeps the place so interesting!

Peace,
Dreamer

Not a fan.
I used to drink it a lot in college, but since I've really been into tea (for the past few years), I've totally done away with coffee. I can't even remember the last time I've had a cup.
I don't miss it at all.
I think were I to have a cup (of coffee), I would be thinking about the tea I could have had instead lol

Weekend is almost over!! :) One more 10-hour-shift until freedom!!
Later on, tea friends.

about 10:90 for me...I like having a warm, bitter/astringent drink after meals and when I'm eating out I often find the coffee quite a bit more palatable than the tea. Also do enjoy dessert coffees like mochas and a cold frappe is quite enjoyable on a hot day...good ones being more bitter than sweet. Also sometimes I just like the flavour and aroma profile of decent coffee...would almost certainly be mocked by any espresso fanatic but I've seriously been enjoying the multilayerd chocolaty flavours of Nescafe instant espresso.

Weird thing is I had a cup of the instant espresso last night just before midnight...and it made me sleepy!

10:90 for me. I like coffee, I just like tea better. Sometimes I really crave a good cup of Kona in the AM. I usually don't care for coffee out and I really don't care for Starbucks.

Not enough tea today, I was pretty busy all day. Started with Japanese black, then some TGY, and a green tea boba.

I'm somewhere between a 10:90 and a 0:100. I really do love coffee, before I traveled down the road of tea I was a big coffee fiend. Also a huge Starbucks fan. A fair amount of my everyday mugs and what not are from them. I just don't drink it as much anymore though.

Hmm, two people have voted 90:10 (preference for coffee), but nobody has posted as such. I wonder if there was a mix-up?

In any case, perhaps it's not surprising that people who prefer tea make daily visits to a Tea forum? :D But, it's nice to know.
