Another thread on it here: http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... it=aladdin

I've got one and it works pretty well. Infuser basket is kinda small for larger leaf tea to fully expand. Works great for cold brewing mango sencha from TeaSource. Keeps the hot side hot, and the cold side cold...

I tried the travel mug out at well and took some photos for those interested. I too found the infuser basket limiting. I'd most likely use it for greens that don't require boiling water so I can get hot water from gas stations. I know the temperature it's exact... but I found it good for a quick travel solution.

Personally, in a time when more and more tea drinkers are shying away from plastics of any kind for hot tea especially, I would pass on this. IMHO.

I am a bit disappointed in the Aladin store, yeah they say BPA free, but they fail to inform the shopper what the thing is made from, a turn off for me. I want to know exactly what the sucka is made of!

I could consider cold brewing with it however ...

Totally agree with Chip on the plastics issue, that's ultimately why I went with the thermos I did. That, and I like fish :)
