Korean Pu-erh Sources?

by thanks » Sep 14th, '09, 17:25

My good friend is living in Daejeon now teaching English, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any great tea shops around the area? A good source for dok cha would be great as well.

Not what you want to hear, but at least from what I've read finding tea in Korea seems to be hard...read here for more details:

Not sure where to get good Puerh in Daejoen, but to get to Seoul only takes 2 hours. I'd ask your friend to visit Insadong (watch out for bubble price) and surrounding areas.

If money is important, searching for Korean internet source might be a better choice, website such as www.realboicha.com, www.chinesetea.co.kr offer good-quality Puerh (bit pricey)

:)
