Making iced tea?

Sorry to make another thread, but how do you guys make iced tea? Do you add the sugar or flavours to the water before the tea or after? Do you steep the tea for a longer period of time? How do you keep the tea clear?

When we make iced tea (and we make gallons of it around here) we do the following:

--Bring two quarts of regular tap water to a boil
--Pre-heat big glass pitcher so it won't shatter from boiling water
--Put two large/family-sized Luzianne teabags into the glass pitcher
--Pour boiling water over the tea bags
--Let steep at least five minutes, and more likely half an hour, knowing us
--Pour over ice, drink

Himself does not add anything to the tea aside from ice. I'll stir a spoonful of sugar into it, and occasionally add a slice of lemon or orange.

The tea just stays clear. The only time I've seen it go cloudy is if it's been sitting around for too long, like a day or so.
