I've been eyeing the Adagio new black pearls.
BTW, Chip, around here when you say your "eyeballs are floating" it means you really really have to visit the restroom!

I received a sample of the Black Pearls, the first steep was very Yunnan, which is not my fave origin for blacks. But the next couple steeps were remarkably sweet. Pretty amazing. I hope you get to try it soon.
Speaking of Adagio samples, I just received a bunch of the newest offerings in samples, and some harvest updates as well. I happened to take the box along on a trip to the sushi bar. While there, Yao, the waiter we ask for each time, was expecting us and brought out his new Kyusu and served his own personal tea in it. It was a very pleasant surprise.
I remembered all the samples sitting in the car and was happy to share a few with him.
Currently sipping Hojicha, one of the samples, warm and toasty.
Re: Wednesday TeaDay 10/07/09 Eyeballs floating in your tea?
I've been eying many teas, but have been incredibly indecisive as to which ones I want/need to get. I want a nice toasty, chocolately wuyi but haven't picked one out yet. I need to get more black teas too and I can't decide if I want to reorder more Organic Monk's Blend and some Irish Breakfast from the NM Tea Co, or if I want to try something else for my morning tea. As much as I have been in a complete tea drinking rut with the Monk's Blend, it is the best thing in the morning. Too many teas, too little time to try them all...
Currently in my cup is grape juice. There was the last bits of chestnut tea with lemon and honey in hopes of helping my sore throat in my cup a few minutes ago. It was soothing, but the cold seems to be winning despite the copious amounts of tea that I have been drinking.
