Chawan Exhibition in Vienna

(I am not sure whether this belongs in the Teaware or in the Announcement section. Given that it is so closely related to Teaware I placed it here, but feel free to move it.)

I just wanted to make any interested parties aware of the fact that a special Chawan temporary exhibition opened at the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria. I will be going on Saturday, but from what I have read it should be pretty good, with over 100 Chawans from various collections in Europe and Japan, the oldest piece dating from the 8th century.

It will be open until March 2010, so if you have been thinking of visiting Central Europe here is perhaps something to add to the travel plans.
