Did they send you even MORE? Did you ever get your Neela?Victoria wrote:Wuyi oolong in my cup currently. Not bad, it's from Tao of Tea and they seem to insist on sending to me. I currently have 8oz of it.

I guess I need to update the thread.
I'm just frustrated. I guess a phone call is in order.

I dig the tradition. It's a hobby. Helps me calm down and enjoy the simple things in life.
Cheap sencha today.

I guess a it's a bit of all three!
Some 2006 Xiaguan "Xiao Fa" Tuocha (ripe puerh) and O-Cha's Matcha Kiku Mukashi for me today. Might finish this evening with some Warashina asamushi sencha, again from O-Cha.

Sadly, right now I am not drinking anything. But I went to tea earlier today and had Strathmore's Signature Blend from Harney & Sons.
Tea is definitely a passion/addiction/obsession. My family and friends just shake their heads.

I said "Habit" as an overall responce. However, keep in mind it is a habit because I am very "passionate" about tea and I do consider it a "hobby" discovering the new flavors of tea and of course all of the accessories.

I chose "other" meaning "yes" it is a passion-hobby-habit beverage!!!
Today's passion-hobby-habit beverages included Black Spiral at home with breakfast and in my briefcase bullet, a nice English Breakfast brewed up by my tea buddy at work, matcha this afternoon and right now some nice calming Tulsi.
Hope everyone's having a great week,

I voted "hobby" because I'd like to keep tea relatively un-intense and relaxing but it seems to have veered closer to "passion" territory. Though presumably one can be passionate about one's hobbies. Sometimes it seems more like a lifestyle. The tea lifestyle. Yeah.

It is a beverage. I drink it because it is wet, and most often hot and that makes me happy. Meh....who I am kidding? Passion, obsession, hobby, etc probably sums it up better. Either way, it tastes delicious.
