Text Gift Certificate Link?

by Dronak » Oct 20th, '06, 23:09

I was just checking in after a long time (the recent 2-for-1 on teabags got me to place another order), and saw the new image links to provide gift certificates to potential new customers. That's good, but my personal web site is almost all text, and I'd like to have some non-graphical version to post. Is there some way I can do something like that? Also, if I want to send them out to people, I can come here and fill in the link form with their e-mail address, right? Thanks for the help and all the improvements/additions since the last time I was checking in here.

Hi :)

We'll definately take this suggestion into consideration. Most people prefer to have the graphic, which is why it was designed as such. But I will mention your suggestion to the powers that be.

And yes, we alwasy welcome you to come to the site and send certificates to your friends.

Thanks,
Amanda

Yes, I'm not surprised that most people prefer to have images, but simple text has its place, too, and it's often what I prefer. I'm glad you'll think about it.

I was just poking around the stuff in my account and noticed a gift certificate sent to "gift recipient". I didn't send out any myself, so is this one that someone sent to himself/herself using the form on my web site? (I put a link to a separate page which has just the gift certificate form.) Just curious. Thanks.

Thanks. I thought "gift recipient" was used to indicate people who sign themselves up for coupons, but I wasn't sure. What I find a bit odd is that the two people who gave themselves coupons through my link haven't redeemed them yet. Why ask for it if you don't intend to use it? *shrug* Oh well, no big deal. I just think it's funny.
