Ribbon for kibako

by Jayaratna » Nov 3rd, '09, 11:04

Hi all,

I am making a present to a friend who's getting married. I bought a yunomi pair, but the wood box came without ribbon. I'd like to tie it because the cover is a little loose (it's old), so I went to my local haberdashery with a string from a kibako of mine, but at the shop they looked at it and with an astonished stare told me they have never seen anything like that before.

Do you know any online resource for this kind of ribbon?

Thanks,
A
