Unless your pot is very small, I'd suggest using the whole sample.

Flash infusions. Don't oversteep it.

My patience ran out. On 'A' now. Aged plum, young leather and hint of Balsamic floral. Clean to to the palate, BZ? Not high mt. Refreshing deep throat and lively. Good! But not recommend drinking cool

I used a 60ml gaiwan to brew up some A last night, and it's really nice. The first thing that hit me was a nice deep fruity note (plum or black cherry), with some nice nuanced complexity coming out as it cools and during later brews. I noticed the same as Tim with notes of leather and what 'balsamic florals' seems to indicate, though they weren't as vivid and varied as what I have come to expect from a TGY. It's nice and comfortable with lots to appreciate. It reminds me of the aged Siji I've had in subtlety and texture, yes? This is one I'd love to be able to get more of :)

I didn't say this is a TGY, did I? :)

Nope, just thinking out loud :) I'm guessing that this is a Siji or other Taiwanese.

Fresh Walnut? I notice nut or uncooked chestnut aroma, but not sure. After a second or so, before swallowing... On it the second night, 10th brewing.
