Red Mudan

by teachat » Jun 7th, '05, 15:10

How much tea does one flower make? I have the 4 cup Mikado pot and would like to see the flower open in it. Will one flower be enough for one full pot?

Thanks,

Dave

Although good for multiple infusions, the Red Mudan tea flowers are designed for individual serving. The leaves are clustered so as to not require a teapot, and be infused directly in one's cup. If it's made of glass, this will provide for quite a show as the leaves of the 'flower' come alive to unfurl. And may be infused a number of times, producing a subtly different taste each time. Hope you enjoy it.
