1967, oh to be 16 again?

The prisoner was filmed in Portmeirion, which is now perhaps more famous for it's pottery!

It's creator

There is some teaware to be had, perhaps for drinking tea from while watching the remake -

but how? can they do a remake of something so enigmatic and unique?

I was thirteen when The Prisoner aired. And who can forget one of it's predecessors, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. David McCallum is still on TV as Dr ``Ducky'' Mallard in NCIS, another show whose title is an acronym.

I just finished a bag of Kagoshima sencha from Tea Gallery. I might brew the Ippoen later tonight.

Well, got the Portmeiron covered as well with a large 20+ year old collection of their Botanic Garden series including a teapot and cups.

I was really young when the series was on TV, and mainly recall the visual aspects such as the bubble room, and the giant chasing bubbles. I will have to catch the remake as a repeat since my team is playing tonight.

Yeah, I remember U.N.C.L.E. as well, much more so than The Prisoner"

Finished the TD with Yame Fukamushi Sencha from Den's. Yowza, brewed with more leaf, cooler, and longer than the directions created an incredibly flavorful and delicious cup full of umami!

my love of tea is greatly accepted! i have spread the love of adagio's teas and now 3 out of 10 employees ( i work for a very smell business) dont drink tea. sadly school is a different story, we are only allowed to have water in my first class of the morning (only Tuesday and Thursdays) so i finish my tea before leaving for school, the other days i bring it with me and no one pays me any mind, as it is a night class.

Back when I worked for various companies, my tea drinking was greeted as an oddity and eyes rolled.

Even so, I knew I was superior to them and never let that bother me :P

Tea at work is mostly accepted, and some have even shown genuine interest.
The one thing I really HATE is that people, some of them complete strangers, feel no reason to ask before picking up my thermos so they can take a closer look.

COMMON COURTESY!

It's not even checking the thermos out that bothers me really, it just that not only is where I work a den of thieves, I believe it to also be the birthplace of the bubonic plague. Sure, the thermos is pretty, but I also DRINK OUT OF IT!
And, I must admit, I'm very American in this capacity: I like my personal space bubble.

Rant over :)
