Wako in pagasari this morning, followed by Yuuki Yutaka in my Shiro.
Maybe a little puerh later. :D
I am very thankful for TeaChat! Pretty much everything about it - you Chip, are integral to this, and I thank you very much.
Love the SO's, all the shared info, the inspiration, the smiles.
I am grateful for so much today.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

There, fixed your post ... definitely more fiendish than "friendly" wouldn't you say? Thanks again for the nice comments, and I wasn't even fishing.

TD continued with a road show with fam. Alishan from Adagio was perfect for an easy brewing yet very enjoyable 5 or more steeps ... back home, Hatsumi from O-Cha with DW.

And currently home roasted genmai/mugi.

Great TD.

Side note, Koi Kat has figured out how to knock Hagi Yaki off a shelf yesterday, suspected it was her since she is bad. Busted her today in the act trying to take an inside view of a new Ice Split Wan that just arrived Monday and is still unchristened.

Okay, you shouldn't scare people like that! I had to go back and be sure that I didn't really type fiendish! So right now I am thankful for the "back" button. :)

After turkey dinner, enjoyed some Xiao's blend from Peet's (easy to bring).
Now enjoying the final tea of the day - puerh, 18 year old loose leaf sheng. Nice.

For sure, I am thankful to have found TeaChat!!!
To have found a whole group of friendly people who know that there is great tea to be had "beyond the bag" is just awesome. I so appreciate the sharing of info about tea and tea ware. I also appreciate our hosts give us this great place to hang out. And our friendly/fiendish neighborhood moderator, Chip...good at getting us to come out and play (and spend money on great stuff!) and good at gently reminding us when we play too rough!

And I know that I'm not too "tea crazy" when I hang here with the 'chatters. I'm reminded of an old movie (?) line...everybody's crazy in this town except for me and you...and I'm starting to wonder about you

Enjoyed Ceylon Vithanakande (restocked this week, oh yeah) with my DH and daughter (home from college) as we all had a very small bit of breakfast after we all slept very late before heading off to be with family for the big Turkey dinner. We were a little late because we all still had to shower, get ready and get the car loaded after we stayed in the kitchen talking and laughing over our tea for too long...it was perfect.

I hope everyone had an awesome grateful day whether you were officially "celebrating" or not!

Gobble, gobble,
Dreamer

Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for family above all else for me... and my tea family is no exception. A community is only as intelligent, funny, helpful, and kind as the individuals within... so I am grateful for you all, except when you coerce me into spending too much money.

I am specially thankful for my good friends, Chip and Mrs... you guys are the best. :)

Sarah, it's friends like you and others on TeaChat that make this forum a place to be thankful for and a great place to be! Thanks! :D

I too am very thankful for our families. We spent time with my side of our fam yesterday and had such a wonderful time, then had 'phonetime'
with Chip's side of our family when we returned home last eve. It's hard when most of your family resides out of state.

All in all and Tearrific Thanksgiving TeaDay ... and the food was super too!
