IKEA is a great place to shop for teaware accessories, i.e. shelving units.
Most of ours were purchased at IKEA!

Currently in my cup at work, Karigane w/matcha.

Have a Happy TeaDay Everyone!

No Black Friday Shopping for me. I hate crowds and all those loss leaders just make me crazy. I do all my shopping online and have for years.

MMMMMMMM nothing like cold Pumpkin pie with Cool Whip for breakfast along side a steaming cup of tea. Delish. My tea this AM was ToT Tea Mao Feng Noir.

Have a nice day everyone!

No shopping for me, since it's Buy Nothing Day. Just tea, homework, and lounging around for me.

In my cup: Wuyi Ensemble. It's almost enough to make me forget it's raining outside.

Today I had Oku Yutaka an Organic Fukamushi from O-cha, really enjoyed it today, I think the secret was to bump up the amount of leaf I used to really emphasize its characteristics.

Never any shopping on Black Friday. Crazy day to go near stores. Hunker down and avoid the madness.

I'm too broke to buy anything worth waking up at 3 in the morning for.
BUT I see you guys have mentioned if only tea vendors had black friday sales too. Well, it just happens that den's tea has a 4 day thanksgiving sale on tea gifts !
Lucky You! Save 20% off on any of the tea gifts. This is a decently good deal, obviously the more you spend the more you save, so If you are in the market for a basic good teapot, or brewing cup for the office, you can get a nice deal by going for one of the brewing cup sets or kyusu sets. These 2 subsets seem to be the best value, especially if you need a spoon and tin (brewcup set) or serving cups (kyusu sets). If you just want tea you can get 2 oz canisters too at 20% off.

Yea, I work retail and it can be the pits, especially today. But for the most part I am a people person and just try to have fun.

.
I've spent most of my life waiting tables, so I definatly know how the general public can get. Hope you survived the day.

No way am I going out shopping today! Not if everything was 100% off. Ok maybe if it was a teastore having a sale I would be there but thats not happening around here. Its cold and raining here so I spent the day searching online for yixing pots and eating leftover turkey and sweet potatos.

Xiao Hong Pao today. This tea is quickly becoming a favorite

I went shopping, but not until late morning so I could avoid the crowds. Definitely would have bought cool tea stuff if I had found it!

No tea today and it's bedtime :(

My daughter's 6th birthday party is tomorrow. 30 kids on ship, I'm thinking a few bowls of matcha before I head into the chaos.

+ 1 I got up o'dark-early to get started on making our traditional day-after-Thanksgiving feast and enjoyed this same gourmet breakfast!

+ 1 Those little Den's teapots are hard to beat and the tin is really nice too. I got this set last year with the Fuki sencha special and am still enjoying the tea.

Today in my cup - I used the last of my ToT Black Spirals to make enough for me to have with my pumpkin pie when it was just me and the pets awake. Ceylon Vithanakande to share with everybody else as they wondered downstairs. Iced Ceylon Kenilworth with our feast this afternoon.

Happy sipping, All,
Dreamer
