Planning on making an order

by slater » Nov 29th, '09, 17:51

I am planning on making an order, hopefully tomorrow (Monday, November 30, 2009) before 3:00pm. I am trying to figure out if my order will receive free shipping because when I go to pay it says that my order is $31.75 as a total (that is with shipping!) Do they just not charge the $3.75 if you buy more than $25?

This is what I am planning on buying:

-Discover gourmet tea deal for $19 (with the black sample tins)
-Glass mug $9 (the 14 oz one)

That makes my total $28, but on the site it says my total is $31.75.

I was planning on paying with a $5 gift certificate that my friend gave me (the person who introduced me to this site and the tea maker) and then pay the rest with a credit card.

If I did this would I get free shipping? It is very hard to tell if I get free shipping or not because it always says there is at least $3.75 for shipping.

Thank you for your time.

Andy

When I enter in those items it says "free ground shipping!" below the items. You may have to select the shipping method it says "ground(free)" as long as its not a p.o. box
UPS may not deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. These shipments are made with Priority Mail at a fee of $7.75.
Are you getting charged sales tax from your state?

Even though I haven't ordered from adagio before I think its pretty safe to say you will get free shipping as long as you are not a po box. Anything over 25 is free shipping and you qualify. Gift cards are unlikely to not count towards total purchase price because it is money after all. Adagio has a TON of customers so all this is probably streamlined very well into their checkout procedures.

If I was you I would just continue with the order, try to pay with the gift card first before you enter your credit card, and just go with it till the very end. If something does go wrong I see them making it right for you.
