I think my ratio would have been more like 99:1 until I got an electric kettle from Adagio-- the only teaware item I've purchased was a cheap gaiwan at Teavana.

So 90:10 i suppose.

I've yet to dive into teaware. Most of my discretionary spending goes to Woot.com... nasty addiction really.

I'd have to say I spend more on tea.

Congratulations, Sarah!

Today I am starting the day with oolong again, this time a fragrant Huang Zhi which I enjoy from Cha Ma Gu Dao. The leaves are twisty ShuiXian shape, with a little gleam of green and gold every once in awhile in the toasty leaves. I love the peachy, apple-y fragrance with a slight whisp of green to it.

I am about 90% tea cost and 10% tea-ware cost.

This morning I am drinking a delicious Fukamushi Kukicha. Delicious!

Had to say 50:50 but it might be more 40:60

I just purchased several high quality yixing teapots, hagi yunomi and 3 more porcelain teacups... so Im going to cut my tea budget for next season to make up for it. At least thats what I keep telling myself

With Persian (yes, Persian) tea from a local lady's relative's farm and an hour spent drinking $1,500 aged sheng for free.... today was an excellent teaday.

Great TD as usual. Continued with a tasting of Zencha Fuga LE which was stellar. Then a tasting of Bai Hao from Rishi which was stellar!

OK, make that a stellar TD! 8)

Currently SLT ... soggy leaf tea.

Think I'll finish the day with a bit of Cham.
Sweet dreams everyone.

Last year was about 30/70. This year is more 60/40.
In fact, I have been spending the same amount of money for my tea for a long time (about 100€ each month).
