Nutcracker Sweetness
Does anyone know the ingredients of Nutcracker Sweetness? I know it contains vanilla & hazelnut but not sure if there is a third ingredient. It was offered during Oct. '09 but is no longer available thru the Adagio site. Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide.

I'm guessing it was made to be similar to Celestial Seasoning's NS, which has cinnamon in it. So maybe that's the other ingredient?

I made this blend. It was taken off the Adagio site due to a cease and desist letter they got from Celestial Seasonings! I really hope I haven't gotten them in any trouble!!!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was 40% hazelnut, 40% chestnut, and 20% vanilla. Although it could have been 30% of both the chestnut and hazelnut, and 40% vanilla. Either way it'll be good. Feel free to remake it yourself, just name it something completely different.
Happy to hear you liked it! I like it too!

Thanks for the missing item. I brought it with me while visiting family over Thanksgiving. They sucked down almost 2 4oz. containers over the holiday. Good thing I had ordered 3. Now to order the 3 teas & try to re-create it myself.

You could create your own custom blend on Adagio's site with those teas. Though I suppose it would be more cost effective to buy all three teas separately and blend yourselfRich wrote:To beckynoel:

Yeah, you could just create your own signature blend. And any time it's purchased you get $1 toward your next adagio purchase. That system has made quite rich in tea!
However, if you and your family have already finished three 4 oz. tins of that, it would be more cost effective to purchase 4 oz's. of the 3 separate teas and blend them yourself.
Glad I could help!
P.S. you should try brewing it with a dash of real cinnamon. Super good!
