Sorry about your kitty Chip, sad news :(

No brewing for me at work, it was so crazy I drank coffee, it was fast and easier. (But not better) Of course now I'm really craving some oolong which I can't have due to how late it is.

Crazy day--only had time for one cup of the good stuff all day, using my go-to office mug infuser and a proprietary mug from the much-reviled Upton's Tea Imports that I've had sitting around for years. Used it to brew, gasp, the end of a packet of Den's Gyokuro Sumei. I'm sorry, I won't do it again. (I really do need to remember to swap that mug out for one of those nice little koryo cups a Korea-based former student gave me awhile back.) No tea so far tonight; I'm quaffing cheap red wine out of a box at the moment, for reasons that made more sense a half hour ago than they do now. I'll do better tomorrow, I promise.

Chip, prayers to Bear and to you, DW, and your entire feline clan.

All my mornings start with Golden Yunnan brewed in a cheap Yixing pot. Drinking vessel is modern style English teacup. At work, it was Menghai 7572 shu brewed in stainless steel travel tumbler (not the best method, but pretty indestructible), sipped/guzzled from a restaurant soup cup (convenient, as there's plenty of them in the kitchen  ). Now, after another very busy 12 hour day, I have settled down to FLT's Honorable Mention Baozhong in a gaiwan. And I'm drinking it out of a rather large but proper Chinese style cup...waiting for the snow to come :D All is now right with the world.

Tetsubin, usually. But I got my hagi kyusu today :D so I'm really tempted to try it.

Been AFK all day, excepting a few moments before I left the house this morning. Tomorrow is my birthday, and it didn't seem right that I'd get robbed of my personal tradition of taking the day off work, so I played hooky today. :)

Very little tea today. Not even Matcha! *gasp*

Chip and Mrs. Chip, I'm soooo sorry to hear about Bear. What a lucky cat to get to spend his whole life with people who loved him.

We had a tough week and a rough evening last nite, however the pain was lessened by all the kind and heartfelt words of sympathy our friends of TC imparted to the both of us.

I also would like to thank those who personally sent me their sincerest sympathy and encouraging words via PMs. It's comforting to know that we have a TeaChat family.

It's snowing here and Bear loved to watch the snow while perched on his fave windowsill ...
