I know ITD has been very quite for a while but we could (should) organize our Secret Santa 2009 anyway.
Who is interested?

Re: Secret Santa 2009
Aw, the ITD Secret Santa! Fun memories...
Alas, I am not in. I am crazy busy (why won't my essay on Louisa May Alcott and contemporary food politics/culture get any easier?! Or the one on Allen Ginsberg's Blakean deep ecology? Wail! Fail!) and will probably barely remember to mail my own mother something.
But I will wait with baited breath for the Christmas Treepot to go up and see what everyone else has shared.
Oh, by the way...I am alive. Thanks for the concerned messages, all you concerned e-mailers and Facebook folk, and I'm sorry for not responding. It's been a busy year for me. My parents are divorcing, and my very rational father somehow morphed into a suicidal/homicidal stalker...which was weird. I also started teaching this year (and had the most awesome class ever!) and finally started doing some research work that I like and find fascinating. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to grab a beer on Friday night, let alone trawl the message boards.
I spread the good tea word to my colleagues, though. A nice klatch of us have tea time in my office pretty frequently. And everyone coos over my UtiliTea and thinks that Christine is a goddess for inventing Birthday Tea. It's awful fun!

Re: Secret Santa 2009
fencerdenoctum, Victoria and skywarrior could you please send me your addresses so that we could organize the pairings? (Maybe someone not involved could help us).
Re: Secret Santa 2009
Sure! I was wondering how to do this with so few of us. I looked into an online Secret Santa program, but it looked pretty complicated!
I'll be glad to help in anyway I can.

Re: Secret Santa 2009
We really need to firm this up as the packages should go out Monday!!
I think all we need is one more confirmation and someone to draw/match up the names.

I'm still down, but due to my recent shopping spree, my SS will get their gift a lil late. Who is putting up the Treepot this year?

Skywarrior are you still interested? If so, please PM me your address so that we will be able to do the drawing.Victoria wrote:We really need to firm this up as the packages should go out Monday!!
