Yes, yay - did receive some tea gifts!
Some matcha Tenkei Tori from Yuuki, a sort of tea thermos thing (libre tea), a chasen, and a bag of Kagoshima sencha Yuuki Yutaka.
Also, I got a chawan for myself, and my sweety got a chawan for me (both from Cory, heh, heh), both of which are not in hand yet.
It was helpful giving people links to tea gifts of interest to me.
Matcha this morning, then Oku Yutaka, then a bit of genmaicha w/ sushi dinner, and finally some puerh.
Cheers everyone.
Re: Saturday TeaDay 12/26/09 TeaGift disclosure?
A nice tea kettle. I will be buying myself some tea with the Christmas money and I could say the 2 yixings and 5 teacups I bought a few weeks ago could be early presents for myself

I was quite pleased to receive a little tea from family. Usually I don't trust them to buy tea for me, but they came through! Some Keemun from Harney and Sons (loose, and this tin is HUGE), and some "monkey picked" oolong from Teavana. I've never had any of their offerings, so this should be interesting.
The biggest tea gift of all this year was a 4 liter ZOJIRUSHI. I cannot describe how awesome it was to unwrap that sucker. And to top it all off, my family had no idea why I was so excited about a water boiler.
