How long does it take for TriniTEA to boil?

by pianoann03 » Jan 12th, '07, 19:35

Hello! I just got my new TriniTEA today. I was so sxcited, but now I'm bummed becuase I've been waiting forever and the water will not boil! The light is on, the hotplate is hot, but NO BOILING WATER!!! Am I missing something, or is my beloved TriniTEA already broken? :(

I've got the same issue. It's been on for about an hour now, with a little more than a dribble in the infusing caraffe.

Thanks. After about an hour and a half, I tried turning it off and on again, as well as manually draining a little water out of the top, and it was working perfectly in a matter of minutes!

Ran two empty (water only) pots through, then made an awsome cup of tea!

I'm in love!
