I do not "drink" so it will be tea, fruit juices and water ... had the tea part already, not sure I will have anymore tonight however.
Began the TD with a tasting of Zencha Fuga LE followed by genmaicha at the sushi bar, and finishing with Gyokuro from Maeda en with DW. A Tearrific TD.

Re: New Year's Eve 2009 TeaDay. NYE Beverage?
Happy New Year!!!
Tea and hot spiced wine are on the beverage menu tonight.
Right now a big pot of hot spiced wine is warming on the stove. It has been warming for 2+ hours...sometime later when I'm sure all the alcohol has steamed off this will be shared with the younger members of the family and some friends.
Right now I'm sipping my first ever cup of o-cha's Sae Midori...yum, I'm loving it! This will NOT be shared...nope, it is all mine
Some teachat buddies are already into next year!!!
Happy happy,

Happy New Year, everyone!
I was enjoying some iced Assam for most of the evening until we opened a bottle of champagne from a Finger Lakes Winery (Swedish Hill). Unfortunately, we could not get the cork back on and all the replacement stoppers were being used so we took the stopper out of the bottle of Riesling that was in the fridge and finished off the small bit of the wine that was left as a pleasant end to the evening.

I hope you feel better soon Geekgirl.

I had one bag of Tenkaichi a long time ago. I thought at the time time it was better than the ippoen, but not much better considering the price difference. I might however order one bag with my next Ippodo order, next month I guess, as I need to reorder some wakamatsu no mukashi matcha.edkrueger wrote:Fancy! I wish I had some. I may have asked you this before, but have you tried the tenkaichi? If so, how does the Ippoen compare?olivierco wrote: Ippoen gyokuro this morning.
Thanks,
