Kaboku sencha after dinner, wakamatsu no mukashi matcha (koicha if there is enough in the tin) is next.

How about not having an unlimited budget for all the great wares I would like to own?

More funding toward great wares and great tea would be awesome. That's my "other" vote.

With the amount of tea I drink, you would think it'd never go stale! Not so. Often I find myself wanting to drink a tea I remember from months ago which has ironically gone stale.
I have roughly 70 teas at my cube at work. Often I have people drop by for tea. More often though, I have people come by for other project related stuff which end up distracting me from a brewing cup. Nothing is more disappointing than turning around and 'remembering' I had a cup brewing for the past 20 minutes and it's now well beyond its best taste.
Reordering a great tea is always a pleasure. Until it turns out the had a bad crop or switched suppliers and the taste is notably less wonderful than in the past.
Today I have been drinking:
Peach Black Tea from Zhena's
Golden Monkey from Adagio
Winter White Earl Grey from Harney & Sons
CoCo Chai Rooibos from David's Tea
English Breakfast by Taylor's of Harrogate

In my cup now - mix of o-cha organic gyokuro and teavana gyokuro imperial. Quite yummy, i must say.

Stale tea is a depressing thing. I had a lot of cups at friends' houses lately, and their old teas always taste like soap. I HATE when I do that to myself. I really hate to do it to a particularly worthy tea.

I think the worst is when you buy a tea and it doesn't live up to its price
Drinking White peach right now

Seeker you nailed it. This is my biggest peeve by far. So many times that I go to heat water for green or white tea and leave the kitchen and when I return its boiling

Pretty funny, I drink Japanese greens all the time and each session begins with an electric kettle full of boiling water... without fail. I get through 4-5 steeps w/o reheating ... got it pretty much down to a science.
Heh, I would be a bit lost w/o starting with boiling water.
In fact, not having a kettle full of boiling water to start would be a peeve of mine.
Next up, a tasting of Zencha Fuga LE.

For me, it's forgetting tea at home more than anything, but waking up to dirty teaware (dirty dishes in general, really) and overbrewing a special tea on accident also ruin my mood.
