Whoa! Two threads from me in one day. I must be procrastinating...
I ran out of my favorite rooibos, so I went to Dragonwater to order more...but they've discontinued their whole rooibos line, and severely cut back on everything else.
Has anyone heard anything about them maybe having troubles?
Re: Dragonwater going under?
Haven't heard a thing about these guys for months.... which probably means they're not seeing a lot of business.

Sad, I guess. Maybe this whole recession thing will create a natural selection event among the tea companies. Who will survive and how will it change the face of tea in America?
And when, oh god, when will I get done with my "Evolution and the Modern" reading?

But...but...Darwin. And Agassiz. And William James. I'm having a blast.

That's scary, Mary - the Dragonwater part. I'll send Gary a note and see if they are ok.

They are definitely struggling. Economic woes.

Hope they are able to turn things around.

The sad thing is, once you're on the downhill path, it's hard to recover. Unless people start buying from them again (and they won't, because the inventory is low and there isn't anything interesting) they're going to struggle even more.
