I think they are saying that you can drink matcha in your scotch glass to overcome alcoholism
Re: SpecialTeas Announces Japanese Greens
I wonder if those are the same people that had those videos on how to make matcha on Youtube, which was literally, put some powder in a shot glass, add some juice, and use a milk frother.

That can be one of those instant sencha powders, those arfe sold in japan like instant coffee in europe, it mixes evenly, no powder remains, it tastes like very stale chinese green tea overbrewed without the bitterness.

Thank goodness!!!! Finally, a matcha I don't have to try! The pic is rather nauseating, eh? That makes my trip to Starbucks for a matcha latte not so badOni wrote:That can be one of those instant sencha powders, those arfe sold in japan like instant coffee in europe, it mixes evenly, no powder remains, it tastes like very stale chinese green tea overbrewed without the bitterness.

Well it actually is their Matcha - not powdered sencha. In their defense they do have it right on their website, it's just that was the picture which accompanied their announcement email.
However this statement is a bit troubling, which I find always to be the case when something is "new and improved" - "We are proud to present a higher grade of Matcha than what we've offered in the past ..."
