Organic Matcha

by rjiwrth » Mar 10th, '10, 07:29

Thanks to TC friends who assisted me over in the Oolong area. Made my purchases yesterday. I've narrowed down my favorite conventionally grown matchas now and would like to know your thoughts about some of the organic matchas out there. I'm steering towards O-Cha again, simply because I was blown away by their Matcha Manten (can't drink that daily $$$$).

BTW, to demonstrate my newness AND lack of ego trip in this realm:
I posted some feedback about my new matchas a few weeks ago and mentioned I had 8 cups of koicha in a night's time. I realize I was not properly making the koicha and it turns out I was making more of a usucha. I tried a true Koicha this morning and, well, ugh, ick (for me, that it). I'm just not there yet! Regardless, I had 16 Chashaku's full that night.
