When I bought it I was told it is an Oolong tea. I'm guessing it's from China, but I have no idea where in China. I'm fairly new to drinking tea so I don't yet know how to differentiate between a good tea and a better tea so if anyone else has tried this I'd love to know.
The old Chinese guy who I bought this from said it was a middle of the road tea. Not the best but definitely not the worst. He said this tea was pickled, but I thought he meant, with his limited English, was oxidized. But I have seen some references in here to tea that has been pickled.
It has a smokey flavour and the liquid is quite dark.
Anyway, here are the pictures.

It's wu yi shui xian. The pack is traditional small paper pack. I love the traditional paper pack.

Looks like the packaging of the old tea seller on Rama IV at the beginning of Chinatown near Hua Lamphong. But I haven't seen so many stamps on his package as the ones you have.
