I'm just starting to get into tea, really. I'm a college student, and was introduced to quality tea by someone on my floor. We would taste tea all the time and my floor (which is very close-knit) would have tea parties in the floor's lounge every so often. I started out with some Teavana teas, but frankly, they're so overpriced and I wanted to start getting into tasting just the tea, so I came upon Adagio.
I'm really quite new to tea. I've read a lot about tea since I've gotten interested in it, but my setup currently is pretty lacking. Though, I did just recently buy a ton of tea stuff, and it's waiting for me back at my college's mail room when I get back from spring break (the end of this week).

I know this is probably not the best place to ask this, but I kind of wanted to know whether any of you think that my setup is a good one for someone getting into tea—in particular, for a college student. I just bought a bunch of stuff from Adagio—their utiliTEA electric kettle (which I ordered with the green tea sample), ingenuiTEA teapot, their glass mug and 2 oz. of Silver Needle. I also bought a yixing gaiwan somewhere—it was pretty cheap, like 11 bucks, and I'm becoming a sucker for teaware . . . I'm sick, guys

I was wondering if you all feel like I'm fairly well set up, or if there's anything else that I should have for making a great cup of tea. What do you guys think?
But anyway, back on topic . . . I'm so glad that Adagio sponsors this forum. I love talking to people about tea, but the problem is, a lot of my friends just are completely uninterested in it, and think I'm crazy for being as into it as I am.

I'm excited to get started in this great community you have set up here.
